Brittany was part of our family unit for over 3 years and is only scaling back her commitment to us because my sons are old enough to no longer require care after school. Otherwise, I would have kept her forever! As a single mom of two active boys and working full time, I always appreciated Brittany's flexibility and ability to "go with the flow". She never balked at last minute changes and responded easily to whatever new plan emerged. My boys were comfortable with her, knew they could trust her, and she was able to strike the balance between being liked and being respected. Brittany's responsibilities with us included being at our home when the boys arrived home from school, helping them get a snack and start on their homework, guiding them through whatever chores were part of the day, cooking dinner and overseeing cleanup, and driving them to appointments and activities as needed that day. She was also responsible for our dog: either overseeing the boys walking/feeding her or walking and feeding her herself. We really loved having Brittany as part of our family!
