ABOUT ME: Hello, parent! I'm Lara, 28 yo Brazilian that recently came to Canada. Before that, I was getting my masters in Museum Science (that's my jam!) in the U.S., but things got tough and I needed to try something else. Here I am! I'm the eldest (with a big difference) of three kids. My parents worked a lot and constantly had to travel, so I was always taking care of my brothers and supervising their nannies work. So.. I sort of have being taking care of children for 2 decades. I'm sharing this part of my life because I know how difficult it must be to trust your kids to someone else, and you need to have an idea of personality through this profile. I am genuinely caring, patient and generous because I was a big sister. Kids are like sponges and they absorb behaviours that will have an impact in their adult life. I am truly aware of that, so everytime I'm babysitting I make sure I introduce interesting and productive things to their routine. I try to avoid TV, and make them draw, go out and have a fun playful childhood. I am always willing to play and educate, respecting parents' wishes. I'm vegan, but I know how to cook some other stuff; organized, polite, respectful, trustworthy, honest and have lots of energy.
