Application: Hello my name is Jean. I am seeking work in a home with young children preferably 30 hours per week in Minneapolis or nearby suburbs. It would be ideal to work 4 days per week but 5 shorter days would be fine. I can also prepare meals for the child(ren), do light housekeeping, go on outings, and run errands. I am willing to include other children for play dates. Description of Skills: I have been working with children for 35 years and raised three of my own, so am comfortable with all ages. I have worked in a daycare center with toddlers, and with preschool and kindergarten children at two Waldorf schools. I have been the owner and teacher in my own independent Waldorf preschool for many years. I do lots of crafts, using mostly natural materials (I have lots of craft materials that I am willing to use with your children). I like to tell stories (and also read quality children's books), and I have songs and verses stored in my head that burst out spontaneously all day long. I have lots of energy and excellent health. I currently hold a license in Group Family Daycare and have had many hours of training to maintain it, including CPR and First Aid.
