Hi! My name is Drew, I am a 17 year old girl and have a passion for taking care of kids. I've babysat for several of my neighbor's children and always strive to create a positive environment for little ones. I've always enjoyed taking care of children and kids tend to love me. I am a fun and outgoing person and I would love to help take some stress off of busy families and ensure that their kid(s) are being well taken care of. I enjoy doing creative activities and I prefer to interact with them and be included in their fun, not just watch. I believe taking care of little ones should not feel a chore, it should be something to look forward to, building a connection with them. When you love your job and care for the child, you don't just hang out with them and keep them engaged/teach them new things because you have to, but because you want to. Abilities In my free time I like to make art, read books, play soccer, and listen to music. My creativity and knowledge of sports comes in handy for working with kids. I did very well in school and would love to help them with any schoolwork. I can prepare food/snacks, clean up dishes, general housekeeping tasks, make sure homework gets done, and that they are bathed and in bed on time. Along with those responsibilities, I will make sure to incorporate time for them to play and have fun. I am pet friendly, I don't mind taking care of pets as well. Important to know The safety of children is the most important, and I will bring a first aid kit and make a list of phone numbers in case of an emergency, along with being cautious of sharp objects or choking hazards. I am also in the process of completing a Babysitting Preparedness online course from North American Learning Institute to learn about any aspects of babysitting that I'm not familiar with. Hourly Pay I ask for at least $15.0 hourly, but I understand that all financial situations are different, so if you are interested in hiring me and want to negotiate a different price for any reason, feel free to message me :). Availability I am available most times Monday to Thursday, and all day on Sundays. I'm usually not available Saturdays but if I am needed, I can make it work.
