I've been caring for children for years! At the age of 14 I started to take care of my brother for my mom who was a single parent working full time to take care of us. I helped clean around the house and prepare meals for my whole family. I was largely responsible for teaching him how to walk and talk. I potty trained him as well! In high school I helped out an elementary school by tutoring children in grades 1 through 4. I helped to teach them reading, math, and science.
