Description: My name is Mary Rachel, I am a graduate from USC, magna cum laude, where I studied Acting, Business and Film Production. I have always excelled academically receiving a 4.5 GPA in High School, student recognition awards, several academic college scholarships and making the Dean’s List each year for high honors. While pursuing a major in Theatre and a double minor in Business/Film Production, I had a busy schedule with schoolwork, volunteer organizations, internships, etc. However, I still created time for families in need of childcare. Children are the future and you can learn so much from them. They keep me present and creatively inspired. I often say that, "Age is just a number, and you should never let go of your childhood heart." Children bring me pure joy and I am beyond grateful for my experiencies with so many amazing, unique, talented and bright young kids in the world. Services And Training: On top of pursuing a career in entertainment, I have continued my childcare and education work with many families in the Los Angeles area. I have been working with children all my life: whether I was babysitting, full time nannying, tutoring, coaching, teaching at camps/homeless shelters, etc. I have lots of experience with tutoring young children from ages 5 to 13 during and after school in Math, English, Science and Spanish. I also currently help the kids I babysit for with their homework, reading and writing skills. Children that I tutor and help with homework always excel with high test scores and begin to develop an organized, focused work ethic.
