Sitter in Clackamas, Oregon

I am currently attending Paul Mitchell The School of Portland full time 8am-5pm Tues.-Sat. and am looking for an opportunity to work with children and also to make an income as I am supporting myself while paying for my education. I come from a family childcare business where I grew up working with children of all ages. Through this experience I have learned a great deal about child psychology and how to apply positive reineforcment to create an enviornment which can enrich a childs' learning experiance, individually and socially. I have always been passionate about helping children learn and discover the world around them through play. I would like to find something that incorperates this passion into my life as I work my way through school. I am a very upbeat and energetic 19 yr old and am new to the area and dont know many people. I am open to any opportunity that fits my needs and would be willing to consider a live in nanny position for the right family.
