Active Learning Daycare/Preschool will be offered starting July 2016. I am currently a teacher who has been teaching for over 20 years specializing in Early Childhood Education. I currently have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development and plan on getting my Masters in the near future. I am providing Daycare/Preschool for children ages 2-12. I am in the process of getting my license with the State Of California. I provide quality teaching and learning, engaging every day interactions with children. I follow the High Scope Curriculum where children learn to make choices and follow their interest. Research demonstrates the critical role early relationships play in fostering young children's social and emotional development and shaping their cognition. I promote my program as an active learning program because that is what kids in my care will do on a daily basis. My daily routine consist of: Story time, music and movement, indoor and outdoor play, science, math, and art. In all parts of the daily routine preschoolers/children have direct hands-on experiences with objects, people ideas and events. My daily rate is $200.00 (full day) 7:00-5:00p.m half day $165.00 hours from 7:00-12:... or 12:00-5:...p.m. (Hours can be arranged) There is a $25.00 material fee.
