Resume Summary: I am a compassionate, loving, and lively woman who adores bringing my passion for the arts, outdoors, and education to children. I am passionate about children because you can learn so much from them, like how to enjoy the simple things in life. I enjoy watching kids grow and learn, helping them along the way as they face new challenges in school and life in general. I have experience babysitting two boys (8 and 10 y/o) for almost two years, and two girls (1 and 6 y/o). I babysat the boys for the last two summers and was tasked with taking them to their bi-weekly swim lessons in West Chester and to other destinations per the parent's requests. Being a very active and creative individual myself, we crafted and did a lot of summertime activities to keep the kids occupied and away from electronics. I fondly remember finding a fun slime recipe and seeing how something so simple could bring us all hours of fun. Coming up with new games and activities to do together is always such a joy and nothing beats seeing a child's face light up with giddiness and excitement. But don't you worry momma, our crafts and craziness will leave no trace in the house. Everything will be as tidy and clean as you left it! In terms of myself, I am currently an incoming sophomore at Penn State studying chemical engineering. I've lived in Downingtown since I was in elementary school, attending East Ward, and went to the Downingtown STEM Academy for high school. I know the area like the back of my hand and have a clean driving record, so transporting the kids anywhere will not be an issue! In terms of personality, I am a responsible, social, outgoing, easily adaptable, patient, creative, and fun loving individual. Morally, I think it is as important to respect children as it is for them to respect me.
