Hello, my name is Alyssa Armada and I am from the South Loop of Chicago. For a little background of myself, I am a soon-to-be senior at New Jersey Institute of Technology where I study and also am a member of the Division I volleyball team there. Being a college athlete has taught me discipline, patience, and time-management skills needed in the childcare workforce. I have a good driving record but unfortunately no car. I grew up within a very big family of many cousins ranging from different ages that were mainly boys. Growing up with such a big family made me learn to love all sports and brought out my competitive side. From time to time, I would take care of my little cousins in the Northwest suburbs. I will be great at looking out for children because I am willing to participate in athletic activities and am very good with staying active. I am known to be highly-energetic while taking care of children as well.
