Sitter in Kettering, Ohio

Hey! My name's Emily. I recently finished my first year of college, and I will be returning home to hopefully earn money to pay for my books next semester. Ever since I was little I've loved watching over those younger than me. I have babysat in the past for families with multiple children and pets and have been told that I adapt quickly. I would love to have a job that would allow me to have a set schedule but can also usually accommodate for most types of hours. I can also multi-task, an example of this would be how in the past I have played both monopoly and checkers to appease two siblings, or how I have been bathing one sister while helping the other brush her teeth. I have worked with children from the age of 2 to the age of 8. Some of the activities that I like normally do with the children I babysit are: Board games, Card games, Tag, Hide and Seek, Racing, Watching movies, Playing on the playground, Pushing them on the swings, Play pretend, and Swimming. The longest I have steadily worked for an employer would be about 18 months, where I babysat once a week for several hours and would occasionally take extra hours so that the parents could take nights off and not have to worry. The most amount of hours I have worked consecutively would be 8 hours. The most children I have watched at once was five. I have also had experience babysitting foster children. I also have a nephew with developmental disabilities and would be happy to work with a family with such a child. I would like to point out that I have been a pet sitter in the past. I was required to visit multiple times daily, in order to feed, walk, and play with the dog. She was great, and the owner requested me again due to my stellar performance. I also am a pretty good baker, although cooking is not my specialty.
