I am opening my place up to some children who need somewhere to stay while parents are at workthis summer. I have a year of experience working in a daycare and also a preschool.The reason why I will no longer work for a childcare facility is because 1. They are not always a clean and safe enviroment 2. The workers and owner are sometimes decietful to parents 3. A lot of places will not allow the parents inside to see what is happening 4. They charge a ridiculous amount for something that they should enjoy doing every day 5. And a lot of parent's personal beliefs and choices for their children are not respected I have decided that the best option would be to open my own and change the stereo types of daycares. I want my home to be welcoming to everyone and a place to feel safe. I do not charge a large amount each month to take care of children and my home is always open to the children's parents. Every choice, whether is be religion, eating choices or anything else, I will respect it because that is entirely the parent's choice. A little bit about myself: I am 18 years old, I graduated from high school a year early with the class of 2014 with my diploma, I am on my way to getting my CDA, I am registered in the Oregon Criminal Background, I live with my husband of over a year, and we are expecting our first baby in January. Not only do I open my home but with a signed permission slip and a parent's ok, I would love to take them to parks nearby, on field trips, and outside to enjoy the sun this summer. I treat the children how I would want my own child to be treated; with lots of love, care, and attention.
