Hi, my name is Abbey! I am 24 years old and I am currently a K-3 Literacy Tutor, which I absolutely love but the position ends June 8th! I am an incredibly passionate human being, I am fueled by creativity, and I am determined to make this world a better place. I am also the kind of person who never gets bored, so I can promise the same for your little one! I love being outside, going on adventures, making art, laughing, cooking, museums, music, photography, teaching, learning... I love kids and have tons of experience with them; I am the oldest of four (2 brothers, 1 sister), have held paid babysitting positions for about 12 years, I was the CD/BD teachers assistant in high school, currently work in an elementary school, etc.. I have my bachelors degree in English - Rhetoric and Writing and Photography, and will be starting night classes to get my graduate degree in Education (grades 1-8) at the end of May. I am available weekdays and most weekends. My summer classes at Mount Mary will be every Tuesday at 5 p.m. and every other Thursday, also at 5. I am only available during the summer.
