Sitter in Seattle, Washington

I am a 16 year old looking for childcare jobs in West Seattle. I am patient, caring, understanding and motivated to help children. I have previous childcare experience in helping my mother teach pre-kindergartners in Seattle School's jumpstart program, which is a week-long preparatory program for children going into kindergarden, as well as teaching children in children's classes at my karate dojo. I also have experience providing care from a trip to Guatemala where I played with, fed, and provided basic personal care services (such as brushing teeth) along with nurses for people aged 8 to 70 with physical and mental disabilities in an in-patient care facility. As a result, I have experience problem-solving issues between children, dealing with minor injuries (both the physical and emotional sides), discipline, mitigating emotional distress (from things like missing parents), being around bodily fluids, and of course engaging children in activities and pretending/playing games of all sorts! I do not have a drivers license, so I cannot do pick-up or drop-off, but I am more than willing to bus to wherever I am needed within Seattle.
