Sitter in Portland, Oregon

Hello! My name is Ashwin Thayer, and I am looking for a summer sitting job in the Portland Metro area. I am 16 years old, live in West Moreland, and while I have no formal paid sitting experience, I have spent many occasions sitting my little sister, and have been told that I work well with children. I am more than willing to take your child or children outside to a nearby park or playground and would be happy to do arts, crafts, and inside games with them. If they have homework or other academic work, I would love to help guide them through it, as I am considering tutoring as a future job. I do not have personal transportation, and therefore would prefer locations in Southeast Portland, but I am willing to travel outside for the right price. I am looking for a position that I can hold throughout the summer, but I may be open to shorter timeframe jobs as well. You will see that I have listed that I will require a sponsorship. This is only because I am unsure as to what it means, and once I am informed I will update my profile and we can discuss it. I am looking forward to meeting both you and your children!
