Caring Castle Childcare is a brand new facility in the South Hills area bordering the Brentwood, Pleasant Hills, West Mifflin and Jefferson areas. We are a very convenient location directly on Route 51 near the intersection of Route 51 and Streets Run Road. Our space sits back off of the main road, and our fenced-in play area is set safely in the back of our building. There are many different ways to access the city from the center, making this a good location for working parents. Our hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. We accept children 6 weeks-kindergarten age for full-time/part-time care, and are accepting after school enrollment up to 4th grade. We are not your usual childcare center, in that we are small - our maximum enrollment is 26. This gives us a cozier atmosphere than the larger centers. We, however, have very qualified staff, most with education/experience at the assistant group supervisor level. All are CPR certified and First Aid trained. Even though we are a small center, we still have an amazing curriculum for our preschool age children, as well as a scaled down curriculum for the toddlers. We provide two snacks a day and drinks throughout the day for the children. Initially we are asking the parents to send lunch with their children, but may change the policy to include lunch as time goes on.
