Sitter in Islay, Alberta

Hello! I'm Valeria, a live-out part time caregiver located in Islay, Alberta, With 4 years of childcare experience, I have worked with ages ranging newborn up to 12 years old. I have specialized in caring for special needs kids in the past. I worked as a nanny from 2015-201......... and then had 2 of my own kiddos. Because I am still their primary caregiver I hope to provide occasional care to a local family alongside them, preferably in my own home. I also offer pick up and drop off. My nannying approach includes Montessori learning, hands on activities, minimal screen time and plenty of outdoor time when possible. I strive for open communication and trust with the family. I believe children thrive with structure and boundaries guided by kind redirection when needed. I was previously certified in CPR and first aid. I am open to recertifying upon the request and provision of a new family. In terms of scheduling, my availability is wide open but I am looking to keep the hours at a max of 20 hours per week.
