Hello! My name is Jenny and I am currently going to school as a nursing major. I have been volunteering at my little brother's elementary school for about 2 years now and I was employed as the after school kinder care-taker for about 7 months. That position required me to care for about 25 kinder and pre-k students after school hours in a classroom of my own. Responsibilities included watching over my students during snack time, assistance during homework time, an hour of physical activity everyday, and we would have weekly nutrition lessons and arts and crafts. Besides my experience working at morningside elementary, I would say I've been caring for children almost my whole life considering that I am the oldest of 4 siblings. I've had the responsibilities of caring for my siblings in different ways including picking up my siblings from school, driving them to their after-school/extracurricular activities, cooking for them, assisting them with homework, etc. Service Abilities: I am available every day of the week except Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I can take care of transport to and from extracurriculars, light house keeping, cooking, homework help, etc. I also am comfortable working with sick children.
