From 2017 I have worked with children of all ages - infants to young adults- as a volunteer at our church’s Bible school and youth centers. Managing activities, maintaining a clean and functional environment, educating, disciplining with understanding and patience using positive reinforcement techniques, encouraging self-confidence and good behavior, as well as monitoring behaviors and the physical well-being of all children are required of each caretaker, teacher, and coordinator. We have the understanding that what we plant today bares fruit of character for the future. In 2020 I pursued a career in education being an assistant teacher with certifications such as DASA and Child abuse education, in addition to being DOE Finger printed; I worked in a small daycare as well while continuing to volunteer. Aside from experience, I love working with children of all ages; I’m very active and engaging. I enjoy cooking and backing, arts and craft, and performing arts. I also am a credited counselor who is educated in child affairs and mental health.
