I have known Lesa Randall for over twenty years. I was first introduced to her when she tutored me in French and from there our friendship blossomed. With a Ph.D. in French from the University of Arizona, she chose not to pursue an academic career but to devote herself to children and to their education. She has been a teacher and an administrator at Greenfields Country Day School for almost two decades. Sadly, the school was forced to close this past summer due to financial difficulties leaving many teachers out of work. Greenfields' enormous loss is also the community's gain because suddenly there are some extraordinary people, such as Lesa available to help you with your children. The mother of two daughters Lesa has raised two smart, caring, and compassionate individuals primarily due to the time and energy she has devoted to them. I have also watched her with her colleagues' and friends' children. She devotes time to them and treats them with respect and caring. I had never in 20 years heard her raise her voice to a child but instead explains gently but firmly to them how they can chose to do better. I have never known Lesa when she wasn't surrounded by younger ones...and lots of them, from her students at Greenfields to her daughters and their friends. She is a born teacher and a born caregiver. I cannot recommend her highly enough as a sitter for your child or children. You would be lucky to find someone with this level of maturity, care, and intelligence to look after the younger members of your family.

Lesa and I worked together for 7 years at Green Fields Day School. She was my supervisor for 2 years and then we were colleagues. Lesa has incredible patience and compassion. Throughout all interactions she is nonjudgemental. Her listening skills are superior. She demonstrates consistent responsibility for her actions and duties. Her hands on approach to teaching gives the students opportunities to express themselves creatively. Whenever I am with Lesa, I am challenged in mind and spirit. I highly recommend her for any position.
