My name is Melissa Jackson. I am 43 years old and have a beautiful 13 year old daughter, and a sweet 10 year old boy. They are amazing kids, I am blessed! I am a VERY qualified, and experienced nanny. I have had the pleasure of being the nanny for two incredible families. Between the two families I gained 11 years of experience, life experiences with two different families. I was another added team member to help manage both their families. My first job was with the Vorce family. My first day of work was on the day the month had to go back to work from maturity leave after their new baby girl was three months old. The Vorce family also had a 2 year old boy on my start date. I was with the Vorce family from 1998 to 2000. We sadly had to go our separate way, because the father was promoted to the head sharif of Roman. I could not follow them, it was to far for me to continue to drive. Vorce family job Descriptions 1.Keep with both children’s age appropriate Routines and schedules!! Change dippers 2.Feed bottles, and changed there foods and diets to fit each chiilds age appropriate nourishment needs. 3. Soothed the children easily with calm music 4. Took both children to all doctors and dentist appointments and an other appointments that came up. 5.Took the to them library every Wednesday, and one other play date during the week. 6. I made sure the house was kept neat, and the dishes done before I left. 7. Anything and everything you could think that you do as a parent, I did with the two families I worked for. Along with managing their household. The Poincenot family was the second family I got the privilege of working for. On my first day I was introduced to three children. A 12 year old boy, 10 year old girl, and a 6 year old boy. I worked for the Poincenot family from 2000 to 2007. I had to quit working for them after I had my first child, Her father and I decided that I would become a stay at home mommy. Poincenot family job Description 1.Make sure all three children have a healthy, well balanced meal before school, and get all three children off to school on time, Money-Friday. 2. I did all the families laundry. 3. I did all their grocery shopping. 4. I Cook dinner every night, stored in the warming drawer, until the family wanted to eat. 5.Organize all carpools for after sports and activities. 6. On a monthly basis for all three children, I would plan, schedule and drive them too and from all their monthly doctors appointments. 7. I also was the children’s go to for anything, and everything they needed, including stuff for school projects, lunches they would forget to bring to school, parent teacher nights for all three kids. 8. I prepared all the carpool for all the after school activities I could not drive, because I had to get one of the other children to their after school activity. 9. I was their house manager, that was also involved with all three children’s friends families. I am great at multitasking. I am super energetic and outgoing. I also I love being able to have great communication with the family I work for! I believe that is key, for a healthy environment for all of us involved in taking care of the children. I also communicate from a loving place, with anyone I come across. I usually know what someone needs before they need it. I love turning nothing, into something. I am a goal setter all the way. I am a realist. It’s hard for someone to still my joy. I love to meditate, and attend a couple yoga classes each week. I believe Knowledge is power, so I am constantly looking to learn new things, and better myself, in hopes it will better the people that are around me, especially my children who look up to me. I’m looking for 20-30 hours a week, with the pay of $21 dollars an hour. Depending on the family and the connection between myself and the family, I would be willing to negotiate my pay!
