hi hello, i’m remi (they/them) i'm a nurturing, slow-paced, detail-oriented caregiver who finds deep joy in building relationships with kids. i am dedicated to helping children feel important, reminded of their inherent goodness at all times, and loved for who they authentically are. i use a gentle, respectful, honest approach to caregiving and it's very important to me that folks i work with share those values/practices. i also look for families who celebrate the queer&trans community! what you can expect from me as a caregiver: -lots of comforting and validating hard feelings as well as helping them learn healthy ways to process and express those feelings -almost a decade of learned knowledge on baby/child development -embarrassing myself in public to bring your kid joy :)) -celebrating them and helping them feel good about who they are -making up songs for evvvverything -learning your child's specific needs and cues -lots of outside time encouraging them to get dirty and develop a bond with nature -giving them the space to explore and learn on their own while being there to keep them safe and guide them when they need it (montessori-style) -building a beautiful relationship with them (this is the best part, it’s magic) i'm looking for part-time or occasional work - am flexible with days/hours! all the best, remi
