Hello! My name is Jennah, I am a energetic 21 year old white female. In my early years, my Mom worked as a Autism Support Worker and I had the opportunity to job shadow her often. Parents would often come to my Mother and ask if she knew of anyone able to work with their child; because I had so much experience, I was able to help them out. Although the position was more of a caregiver role than a support job; I was able to use the skills I had learnt job shadowing. Over the summer of 2010 I worked with a young boy of whom was very low functioning and had very limited verbal skills. Through a lot of work and effort; I am very pleased to say after the summer; he knew his ABC's, up to 10 AND became potty trained. I realize that every child learns differently and I am able to offer tutoring as well. In the year of 2012, I moved from Fredericton NB to become a full time live-in Nanny for a new born girl of whom I stayed with for 2 years. During my stay, I accomplished daily housekeeping chores; ran errands and provided a safe environment for the child. Regardless of your needs, I know that I can help you out. Caring and nurturing are things that come naturally to me, I am happy to say whomever I am working with; I'll treat them and you like family. I am eager to design a program for your child to help accomplish more than what is expected. I currently live in Calgary SW, but can relocate if necessary.
