Hello! My name is Harmony Jackson and I am 22 years old. In the past four years, I have worked very closely with children, both during the school year and in the summers as a teacher, private tutor and homework helper. My experiences as a teacher have been as a Dance and Sewing teacher, but also as a substitute teacher for ages 8-13. As a private tutor, I specialize in both Elementary Math and English because those are subjects I know well because of my experience as a substitute. Currently, I am a Dance major at Goucher College, with a minor in Public Heath. I consider myself to be a patiently productive person who can handle many tasks without becoming overwhelmed. Primarily, I enjoy the presence of young children, which is why I find myself to be attracted to jobs that allow me to work with them. I find their energy to be refreshing and I enjoy that fact that even though I am the one teaching, I am constantly the one learning as well.
