Hello, my name is Sonal and being around children brings me joy! Since 2012, I have taught youth various styles of dance (i.e. hula, creative movement, bollywood) and after-school activities. I have worked with youth in the Portland, OR; Spokane, WA; and Beaverton, OR School Districts. Furthermore, since 2017 I have worked as a contractor for the U.S. State Department, leading international and domestic youth programs. Here, I have traveled with youth, delivered educational workshops and facilitated dialogue. In December of 2019, I also began working as a Foster Care Case Aide, where I transported at-risk youth, supervised visits between Foster Youth and their families, and spent up to 12 hours with the same child at a time. I am confident in my ability to bond with kids and to have a positive and meaningful impact in their lives!
