I love working with children and I think I would be a great option for your family. I have ample experience working with children of a variety of ages. During the school year, I am a teacher's assistant at a preschool in the Frederick area where I focused on assisting the lead teacher in ensuring the physical, social, cognitive and educational excellence of children, providing support to the lead teacher in planning lessons and daily activities based on the principles of child development, observing each child to assess skills, interests and needs and use this information to facilitate individual learning and growth, and providing children with support during lunchtime and ensure that their nutritional needs are fulfilled. I worked specifically with children ages 3-4. I also have previously nannied for a 2 year old child and do the occasional babysitting from ages 2-8.
