Hello! My name is Caitlin and I am recent graduate from Northwestern University. I majored in vocal performance and opera, additionally studying dance and theatre, to earn a certificate in musical theatre. So you could say I'm passionate about the arts! But, I love sharing the arts and new art forms with children. Children, as explorative, and open people, are naturally creative and I love helping them feed and explore their creativity! Whether it's through storytelling of sorts, arts and crafts, or music, I have fun playing with children and teaching them to express themselves. As the eldest of four, I grew up caring for children and it's something I really enjoy. I've been babysitting since I was ten years old and also grew up with younger cousins who I've cared for as pre-schoolers. I'm able to communicate with children of different ages and developmental stages and am able to help with school work. I'm also emotionally supportive, able to prepare simple meals, reliable, hard working, and have basic knowledge of Spanish, Italian, French, and German because my studies in opera.

Caitlin Finnie is amazing with children. She has looked after my now 7 year old daughter numerous times from the time she was a few months old to present. We have also had her help in looking after 4 children (ages 2 through 13) during our family reunions and she has managed to keep them entertained for almost 2 weeks. Anyone that has the opportunity to work with her would be extremely lucky to have her. She engages with children and loves doing activities with them and spends quality time with them. She is an extraordinary singer and shares her talent with children whether it be that she is singing to them, with them or teaching them music, dancing, acting, etc. Children love having her around and being around her. She is like a Mary Poppins or a Julie Andrews in Sound of Music.

Caitlin Finnie has babysat and cared for my daughter for 2 week stints over the past 4 years. She has looked after my daughter since she was 2 years old. I have seen Caitlin grow into a very confident, responsible, trustworthy and competent women, as she pursued her degree in Fine Arts. She is a very smart, patient, enthusiastic and encouraging person. Caitlin has a way of making kids feel very special when she interacts with them.
