Sitter in Lake Forest, Illinois

Hi! My name is Lexi. I am going to be a junior this fall at Florida Southern College. I am pursuing a degree in Chemistry. I graduated from Lake Forest High School in 2014. I am 20 years old. I have three older brothers. One of my brothers, Cody, has autism. I have been babysitting him since I was 8 years old. I have a lot of experience with babysitting him and I have other experience with special needs children. I volunteer for a special needs baseball team through Keshet Buddy Baseball. I have been with them for over 10 years. I also was a job coach for a young man with autism last summer. Beyond my experience with those with special needs, I also have other experience with children. I have babysat for various families throughout the years, with kids aged 5-13. I also have worked at a few summer camps. I was a CIT (counselor in training) at Twigs Art Camp in Lake Forest during high school. Last summer at worked at Ramah Day Camp, with the job coaching position, in Wheeling. At both camps I had lots of interactions with kids from kindergarten to 6th grade. Also at both camps I gained experience with crafts. I consider myself to be an 'artsy' person, and I love doing arts & crafts. I am home for the summer from college, looking for work. I love kids. I go to school less than an hour away from Disney World, and it is one of my favorite places. I am there all the time, and I love Disney. I have my own car, and am located in Lake Forest. I have an excellent driving record. I am available every day, all hours, from now until the middle of August (I will be driving back to Florida by August 19th).
