Hi! My name is Carolyn. I am an artist /art teacher for all ages/ babysitter. I can care for your pets as well! (I even have experience working with horses.)....I spent several years after college teaching art at Kreative Kids. I was the manager and teacher of the art/ drama classes which students enrolled in. I also helped coordinate the regularly scheduled birthday parties every weekend. We had a mommy & me class for the babies and their moms, up through young teenage fine art / crafting classes. During this time I worked with many different age children & found a true love of teaching. Children are the best artists because of their spontaneity. When they are taught techniques and methods the experience is not only fun, but really expands their self-knowledge and equips them with a valuable skill. I love children and I have a 14 yr old daughter myself. I am now divorced, but was married for almost 16 yrs. As I continue being an artist, I would like to supplement my income babysitting and share the gift of being an artist working/ teaching children again. My favorite moments during the 8 years of teaching that I did was always seeing a child not wanting to stop working on their project when the class ended because they were deriving such enjoyment from seeing their creation evolve. I have been blessed with my art talent and I love to teach and make the time spent babysitting one of personal growth for the child I am caring for. Many children are not even aware of the artistic talent that they have ,...it’s important for the teacher to bring it out of them!
