Hello! I am a mother of a 6 month old baby girl, and also a Children's Therapist, as well as certified as an Educational Specialist (Guidance Counselor) by Dept of Ed. After having my daughter, we decided to step me down from my full time Children's Therapist position, into a part time school position with the local IU. I have 9 years experience working with children in the mental health field, and received my Master's in Education in 2010. In need of a babysitter/tutor? I will be available to watch your son/daughter in my home, after school until the time needed. I am located in Towamensing Trails. All meals/snacks will be provided, and I will be happy to assist with homework and projects. Weekends are also an option, unless otherwise previously planned, and the majority of weekends we have my 11 year old stepdaughter with us. We also have three small dogs, and two kittens. I am requesting a rate of $10 an hour for regular school/work and care, However, if your child is in need of extra school support/tutoring, we can certainly discuss that as well and determine a rate from there. My passion has always been helping children in any capacity, and now being a mother I can empathize with the woman's struggle of working and needing to find someone honest/trustworthy and responsible to care for the little people we love most.
