My name is Safiyya. I am 32 years of age and have been in the Childcare Industry roughly 10 years. I started off as a part-time babysitter and later went into the Pre-K and Daycare field. As of the present time I am getting my certification in Early Childcare Learning and becoming a Pre-K teacher/care giver. I seek to provide a happy and nurturing environment first and foremost with the children I provide care for. I enjoy very much helping kids be expressive individuals and experience things hands on. I am a very passionate person towards kids, that is why I have stayed in this field for the love I have for kids. It's a pleasure to build relationships with the little ones. I have cared for newborns to kids 14 years of age. My most recent job includes working with kids 3-4 years of age getting them ready for kindergarten. I also help with teaching them letter and number recognition, worked on gross and fine motor skills, hands on arts and projects and of course having a happy and fun experience while blossoming into their own individual person. I enjoy their company and catering to their personal needs. I am very fond of working with our future generation. It is a good feeling to know that at the end of a 'work day'. My rate is $20 an hour.
