My name is Jenny and I just moved back to Oahu after attending Northwest Nannies Institute where I gained my professional nanny certification. I have also passed the INA basic skills exam, the NCSA newborn care specialist exam, and I am cpr & first-aid certified with a car and a clean driving record. I am looking for work as a full-time Nanny in the honolulu area, stretching out to around hawaii kai, preferably for no more than two children. I am creative, patient, and open-minded, and would love to work with a family who will be open to communication with me about the values that they would like to instill in their children. I would like to continue my child-care education, and will be more than happy to take any classes or do any reading/research that you feel would make me a more valuable addition to your family. My current education includes early childhood development, safety, behavior, health & nutrition, infant care, etiquette, household management and more. My educational goals are to go to school and get my associates in early childhood education, and then move into developmental psychology, working on sign language and working on a second language as well. I understand that every child is unique, and should be treated as such, so my empathetic nature makes me a nurturer at heart. My starting rate is $20/hr, live-in/out negotiable.
