I am a certified elementary education teacher (living in the Papillion area) looking to start a full day, at home preschool starting in August 2015. I have five years experience teaching at a local elementary school and spent my high school and college career (about nine total years) working at a local daycare as the lead Pre-K teacher. I have always had a very strong passion for teaching and can't imagine doing anything else with my life. That being said, my husband and I just had our first baby in June. Because of the high day care costs elsewhere, I've decided to stay home and start my own preschool/daycare from our house. My goal is to provide for you what I was looking for for my child: a safe, loving, learning environment that does not cost a fortune. My aim is to enroll mainly preschool age children so that maintaining a daily preschool curriculum can be possible. Preschool activities will include (but are not limited to): -Circle time -Reading -Math activities -Science experiments -Arts & Crafts I am still considering my hours of operation. If I get enough interest, I would like to run my preschool on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00am-5:30pm (with the main preschool hours being in the morning). I would also offer one Saturday night a month (5:30pm-9:00pm) for parents to have the option to get out on the weekends. However, if I don't get enough interest in a three day a week preschool program, I may be open five days a week instead. Regardless, rates would be $25 per day with a non-refundable $50 registration fee. This fee will go towards school supplies for the preschool. Snacks will be provided, but a packed lunch would be necessary so that I can focus on preschool activities in the morning (and not making lunch). If interested, please email me at [email protected].
