Sitter Job in Somerset, New Jersey

GENERAL: Live-out nanny needed for 12-month-old baby boy. TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE: 5 days a week from 9 to 6 p.m. (M-F) Must provide own transportation RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide attentive nurturing care Engage with child through learning and development activities Feed, bathe, dress the child Place the child down for naps Change diapers Perform housework related to child care (laundry, clean-up after meals, tidy play areas) Light housekeeping while child is asleep JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Experience caring for infants Training in early childhood education preferred First aid training and child/infant CPR English and/or Gujarati proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for a young child Provide proof of current immunizations including the flu vaccine Provide a minimum of 3 references of previous employers.
