Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Diamond Cruz. I am 17, currently in high school right now, but i'm a senior and graduate this following summer. My birthday is July, 29,1999 ; I attend to Aldine Senior High School, i played girls basketball for my school 4 years straight and make sure my academics are on point, so i'm use to a busy schedule but now that my season is over i do have early release at 1, so i'm available from 2- to whatever time. Just be mindful that i do have to attend school Monday-Friday from 6-1 , but other than that i'm available 7 days a week. i do just want you to know a bit of me so here's just a little something.. I grew up raised by a strong single mother, i'm the middle child as well as the only girl. However, i'm a very respectful, intelligent young lady. I've never had working experience but i use to volunteer at Pet Smart on 1960 for a animal shelter and help animals find loving homes, i also will babysit my mom's boss's dogs while she'll go out for vacation. i absolutely loved it. I do plan on attending 2 years of Lone-star for my basics in the fall off 2017 then transferring over to Texas A&M to full-fill my career to becoming a Veterinarian. I am clearly-aware that babies and children are totally a different responsibility than animals. But i'm a very big hearted person. I do love children as much as i love animals, i have a niece and when i was in 10th grade i gave up my whole summer which contained AAU to get better in basketball for my niece because she was going through a rough time and i loved her so much i'd give anything to make sure she was in good hands until her mother came back to get her. Now my niece lives with her other aunt because, of course i'm not above age to claim her nor do i have any type of custody of her, but ever since she's been gone it took a huge part of me and at that moment i realized i not only can i be a child care provider, but i can also show these children and babies love and care for them as if they were my own. I know i'm 17 and bless the lord i don't have any children right now considering that i'm still young but i believe children bring happiness to our lives and i find them so brilliant and blissful because they know how to make everything so much better due to their imagination and creativity. It's just so amazing and i want to be apart of a family because the youngest in my home is turning 17 on Easter day and the love a child gives of is just so powerful and strong, it would be a honor to make an impact in a child's life to me, honestly.
