Every parent deserves a good babysitter, one that can provide and care for any number of children at any age. I am immensely interested in being that provider. To start things off, I think you should get to know myself a little better. To officially introduce myself, my name is Dana Hooley. I am fifteen years old, currently a sophomore attending highschool. I have about five to six years of babysitting experience. I grew up with five older siblings, I'm the baby of the family. Growing up in such a large family I learned to always use my manners and share. One of biggest inspirations for child care would be my older sister, Heather, who is eighteen. She has Mosaic turners syndrome, which is a rare chromosomal disorder, that really limits her. She taught me how to look at life with many perspectives. Shes taught me how to better understand, and how to listen, but most importantly shes taught me how to be empathetic and patient. These simplistic qualities that I have acquired over the years has made me a responsible care giver. Experience: For my experience, I always helped my mom out with babysitting, when I younger. She used to babysit kids in the neighborhood. I also became an aunt at the age of ten, and got lots of experience with newborns and toddlers. I have four nephews and two nieces, whom I have watched for my siblings over the years. On my free time: On my free time you will find me with my nose in a book, or ear buds in my ears blasting music. I love nature and exploring the outdoors, so you can also find me long boarding around the neighborhood, or taking a walk in the park. I'm big on creativity and drawing, so arts and crafts are always on my agenda. Reasons why you should consider me: My hours are pretty flexible. I do however attend highschool during the hours of 8am-3:30pm, 8-2:30 on Wednesdays. At the moment I do not have any other job, so before, and after these hours I'm pretty Free. I am available to babysit at your house, or even my own and I am available for late nights out. I do not have any pets, however I grew up with animals my entire life and am available for pet sitting as well.
