I grew up as the oldest girl in a large family. With many younger siblings and cousins, I have always been around children. I began working at my local YMCA a little over 5 years ago working in child watch where I worked with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. My occupation requires me to be certified in CPR, oxygen, and first aid every 2 years. Since working there I decided to study speech and hearing sciences and have recently graduated from ECU with my bachelors degree.
