My mother and I are seeking to provide childcare within my home. I am a mom of two wonderful children a 3 year old daughter and a 19 month old son. My mother, Annie, is the matriarch of our family and has been caring for children for over 30 years. Children have been her life ever since I can remember. We are seeking to provide childcare, in my home for families preferably within the Camillus, Westvale, and Fairmount area either part or full time starting the beginning of October 2016, I am available limited hours until then. I own a home in Westvale in a quiet neighborhood right near Bishop Ludden Jr/Sr High school. We have a large flat fenced in back yard and a large play/activity room with foam tiles for flooring in the front of our home. For the past few years I have worked a regular M-F job to help get our family to the place we are now. while my mother cared for my babies. I am now seeking to get back into childcare, something I am truly passionate about. I have years of child care and babysitting experience, including the past 3 1/2 years with my children. Prior to having children I was also a perm. substitute teacher in the Oneonta & Sidney School districts for elementary age children. I also worked as a teachers aid within the Oneonta school district within the special needs classroom, working with children with various learning and physical disabilities. We are both also CPR and First Aid trained and certified. Beyond our qualifications, We truly enjoy and love working with children. In our home we do enjoy keeping busy. We will frequently be outdoors in the warmer months, whether that means just simply playing outside, taking a walk, heading to a park, to the zoo, or to the beach. We also really enjoy arts & crafts, reading/store time, and music. Additionally, our main goal and focus is the well being and enrichment of every child I care for. We will not over load ourselves with children because we want to be able to provide personal attention to any child we are caring for, like I would want for my own children. We both know how scary, with being mom's that it is to trust someone to watch your children, be responsible for them..and we also understand the growing necessity in today's world and economy. We both would truly be in a partnership with you/your family in helping your child or infant grow, develop, and thrive.
