Hey, I'm Laura, and I'm happy to keep your home in order while you're away, and having got my first aid degree recently, I'm ready to handle emergencies. I love working with kids of all ages: fresh from the womb to peak sarcasm levels, and being young (19) myself, I remember school well enough to be a real asset in the schoolwork department. My 4.0 GPA and being a complete nerd will probably also help with that. I'll admit that I don't have nearly as much childcare experience as I would like, but I have babysat for a few families, one of them long term, and I started up a drama club for the elementary students in my k-12 school when I was in high school. I've also spent many years as a mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. I also have been involved in some volunteer childcare for town events, and quite a bit if you include artsy things like face painting. I'm very artsy. My schedule is completely open, and I'm willing to work late, early, overnight, whatever you need. Salary is also very negotiable. I love pets of all kinds, and big dogs are the opposite of a problem. I have no problem getting my hands dirty when necessary, especially if it involves plants or animals. I'm a lot of fun, full of nerdy facts, and I happen to be very good at reading out loud, and tell the best bed time stories. I'm pretty confident your kids will love me, and I'll love them. Don't let my youth fool you; I'm well spoken, dependable, responsible, and very intelligent, not to mention just generally enthusiastic about education and health. Your kids will be safe with me, happy, and they'll probably learn something. I just hope I get the opportunity to learn from them.
