Hi, my name is Crystal, I am a recent graduate of FSU and I am currently preparing to enter a social work masters program. I have over 9 years of experience in childcare and have worked with children of all ages, ranging from newborn to 16 years old. I have been a babysitter, as well as a tutor for many years. In high school I ran a Friday aftercare program for two years at a church in my hometown. I cared for a group of 5-8 students and encouraged these children to explore their creativity, and participate in arts and crafts activities. In college I helped run a mentor program for a year with Children Beyond Our Borders, a non-profit organization, for high school and college students. I enjoy engaging in activities with children that explore their interests because I believe it is especially important to encourage their curiosity and growth. I enjoy spending a lot of time outside and engaging in outdoor exercise and activities. I am dependable, responsible, and a friendly person.
