I worked at Aims Community College for 13 years in the infant room as lead teacher. I was there from the opening until a year before the college closed the center. It was a lab school for the early childcare courses. It was the top childcare center in Greeley and the surrounding towns when it was open. Aims board decided to close the center after 14 years because it didn't make enough money for the college. I trained many of the infant teachers in the Greeley area. After leaving Aims I worked for Sam's as the demo lead for almost 3 years, we moved to Iowa, or oldest daughter lived there and it is cheaper to live. I worked there for Home Instead for a year, then a job at the childcare in our town opened up. I worked as a teacher for 1.5 years, then became director of the center for almost 2 years before moving back to Colorado to be close to our grandchildren. I have been in childcare for 40 years and I have loved every minute of it. Taking care of infants and children is the most important job there is!
