I am a mature responsible 28 year old. I have volunteered with children for seven years. I have experience with disabilities (autism, OCD, ODD, ADHD, ADD) I found the best way to help and support those children is be a friend and teacher at the same time. I have been a babysitter and nanny for about 3 ears now. I can tell you this whenever a child or children are in my care they have a blast as I make sure do something productive and fun ie: If they are around 6 or so I have them help roll out the cookies or I have them help decorate the cookies once cooled. I understand their are different diets and routines for a child to follow so I do everything I can to follow those guidelines any treats bought for their good behaviors I discuss with the parents of what's allowed so yes I make sure your children feel appreciated and treasured no I am not like Mary Poppins I like to be fun yet serious and I love to do something productive everyday. I consider experience a great asset but my passion for working with children should matter l truly believe a child is a gift from God and should be treated as such.
