Sitter in Shawnee Mission, Kansas

For ten months I took care of a baby girl who was five months old when I started. I was laid off early only because her mother decided to stay at home instead of working. I also let the family dogs in and out, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, folded clean laundry, picked up toys and received packages from delivery persons. When the family went out of town, I took care of the dogs for them. I am the oldest of five children and took care of them and our house while my parents worked. I have raised a wonderful daughter who is now a mother to my three year old granddaughter. I have numerous nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews. I have done numerous fill-in assignments for a local agency. This included taking care of toddlers at an all-day conference for foster parents. I am currently taking care of a baby boy who was only two months old when I started. He is now six months old. His parents have reduced my hours to two days a week so I could either work part-time for someone else or full-time, if that is what is needed. Being a nanny is one of the most enjoyable jobs I have ever had. I am looking for a family who is looking for someone like me. Thank you for considering me.
