Cicero Family Sports Center, a New York State licensed child care facility, provides quality care for children ages 3 to 12 in the North Syracuse and Central Square School Districts. We are focused on developing the physical and emotional health of all students, ensuring kindergarten readiness for preschool students, and providing opportunities for professional development and personal growth for all staff. Our Preschool Program for children ages 3-5 in the North Syracuse and Central Square School districts focuses on guiding preschool children in developing a positive attitude about themselves and others, providing children with an environment that challenges their abilities both physically and academically, enabling children to develop their social skills through positive play experience, with reassurance and encouragement from staff. We focus on learning through play and positive interaction with adults and other children. Our School Age Program is for students in the North Syracuse School District only as we only have busing to that school district's schools. Our goal is to bring families together in a fun and active environment. In addition to fun, the program strives to yield higher levels of fitness, a more active lifestyle, and an increased awareness of self-esteem, family values, and creativity. We believe that creative play and exercise are essential components to the overall development of our children. The Sport Center program is a personalized approach to before and after school care which provides a stimulating environment for kids to be creative and active, and to enjoy the benefits of just being a kid.
