Sitter in Destin, Florida

I am currently a student at Niceville High School going into my junior year, but I am dual enrolling which means i'm also going into my freshman year in college so I will be able to graduate with my AA. I am a very experienced baby sitter, and pet sitter. I can do a few hours a day or a week at a time. I have even traveled with families and their kids. I like to think I was born to baby sit considering I have 8 sibilings i've been cleaning after and looking after my entire life... it's definetly been a ride. I love looking after kids any age and I can double as a house keeper because cleaning and laundry has never seemed like a chore to me, in fact with a huge family it almost seems like a get-a-way. One thing I love to do is to bring arts and crafts projects to children because they often love to show their masterpieces off to their parents when they come home. Also I love to pick up ingridents to make goodies for the parents and children such as homade chocolate covered petzles with toppings which I let the kids help decorate to pass the time. Who doesn't love an activity where the kids and parents walk away with a smile and a snack. Activites help me as a sitter bond with a child or children, which in my opinion is much more important than just sticking them on an iPad 24/7. Having said that I also have no problem cuddling in blankets with the kids and watching Disney movies with some popcorn till they fall asleep. I am great at following schedules and will be happy to perform any task I am asked to do. I am organized, responsible and love taking care of children. I will ensure their safety and put every child I take care of before myself in any situation. I will follow any rule put in front of me without question because I have definetly learned parents know best. Every parent's style is different and as a sitter I have respect for every parenting style and would never judge. Every child is different and no matter if it's a toddler in the terrible twos or a perfectly behaved 10 year old (which is as rare as a baby who doesn't cry when their parents leave), meeting and getting to know each individual child is a gift.
