Sitter in Clinton (Township), New Jersey

Hello, I hope this finds you doing well. My name is Grace and I am an experienced 25 year old nanny/babysitter, residing in Clinton, NJ. I am looking for part time babysitting and nannying jobs. WHY I'M LOOKING FOR HIRE: I have just finished a job with a family that I have been with for nearly two years, as their twin two year olds have just begun attending school/daycare. I have cared for them since they were only two months old. We just finished their full transition to daycare a few weeks ago and I truly am missing them already! I currently nanny for one other family on Thursdays, Fridays and every other Wednesday. I will be with them M-F from 3-8 pm, starting in the Fall, but I am looking for another part time job. I am available to start as soon as possible. EXPERIENCE: I have two younger brothers, 12 and 13, who I helped raise. My first experience as a hired care-taker was at 12 years old, caring for a two year old, as the mother was also home with her newborn. Throughout high school, I cared for two elementary school aged boys, one of which had an intellectual disability. Since then, I have been a reliable babysitter, petsitter, housekeeper, nanny etc. for multiple families. I absolutely love to care for infants and children of all ages. I have yet to find a family that I haven't loved to work for. EDUCATION: I am currently pursuing a double major in Biology and Chemistry at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a 3.8 GPA. I have been an ophthalmic technician for over two years and, while I love working in the field of ophthalmology, my passion lies in infant care and childcare services. While I am still at home and pursing an education in healthcare, I'd like to continue to be a part time nanny and babysitter. TO CLARIFY, HERE IS MY CURRENT AVAILABILITY: As mentioned previously, for the summer months (June, July, and August), I am currently available ALL DAY on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday. I am also available ALL DAY on weekends and on MORNINGS on Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Wednesday. Starting in the Fall (early September), I will only be available some MORNINGS M-F and ALL DAY on WEEKENDS. I do not have any summer vacations planned just yet, except for August 29 to September 4 (UNAVAILABLE THESE DAYS), so I would potentially be able to work throughout the summer, without any time off. IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARENTS: I am a licensed driver of 8 years and I have a clean driving record (with no accident history). I do not have a criminal record and am always willing to provide a background check. I am the sole owner of a safe and reliable vehicle and frequently transport children to and from school and activities. My younger brother has severe asthma and life-threatening allergies, so I am extremely sensitive to and knowledgeable about both issues. ABOUT ME (MORE PERSONAL INFO): I know how important it is to find a caretaker that you feel comfortable with, so I try to share as much personal information as possible with the families that I care for. For those of you from the area, I grew up in Clinton and will always consider it my hometown. I went to a private elementary and middle school in Annandale. For high school, I went to North Hunterdon and I still truly love everyone in my graduating glass. I graduated with my Associates in Science and Mathematics (Pre-Medical Professional Degree) from Raritan Valley Community College in 2014. I formed some very close relationships with many professors, lab technicians, other students, and so on. While pursuing that degree, I lived alone in an apartment in Clinton and was a Supervisor at Burlington Coat Factory in Flemington for two years. I am very much a family person! I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my brothers, parents, grandparents, and other family members. I am an animal person, to say the least. I'm probably more accurately described as a "crazy dog person," whose day is usually made by getting to meet and/or play with a friendly dog. I am a musician who loves to sing and play both guitar and piano. I ran track and cross country in high school and I still try to stay active, most days. For what it's worth, I am a morning person, but I also tend to be up late. I thrive from a busy schedule.
