I am finishing my classes this spring to receive a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation. I have completed all of my course work, but need to complete my senior internship next fall. My junior internship was with Fairfax County Therapeutic Recreation Services. I led a class of special needs 18 - 22 years olds. I enjoyed working with each of them every day! I also worked at special social events for special needs. I've volunteered with Best Buddies and guided special needs kids swim and play in the pool. I was a lifeguard for 2 years. I am currently CPR certified.
