I am a single grandmother who enjoys teaching simple crafts and meals, reading books, playing board games, helping with homework, taking walks to the park or in the neighborhood. I find it very rewarding to allow children to express themselves within certain guidelines. Those guidelines would entail not harming self or others, being offensive, or damaging of property. Finding what they are gifted and talented in and expressing it through dance, art or written. I also enjoy being around pets. House pets like dogs or cats. Providing them with a safe environment to roam around the house, feeding, bathing, grooming, massaging them as needed, clean their cages or living areas. Like children, I believe that pets should also thrive in a safe environment. Keeping all harmful and dangerous chemicals, sharp objects etc...out of their reach. I am AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED Certified (Infant, Child, Adult). I will be working on getting my driver's license, but at the moment the mode of transportation I use is the bus.
