Hi families! My name is Peggy Sue and I absolutely love caring for children!! I have a super positive, upbeat personality and truly enjoy spending time with children doing activities that inspire their creativity and passion. I'm a compassionate, loving, go with the flow woman, yet can be firm at times if required. I am a mommy too 2 beautiful boys of my own, ages 11 and 12; and also have 2 great stepdaughters, ages 7 and 12. I have been working with children for the past 10 years and have worked with all ages from newborn to 14 years old. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. I love the opportunity to get messy, loud, & energetic with children...and we clean up afterward, knowing that we had a good, full day! Keeping the well-being of children I take very seriously and I understand the importance of my role; I am willing to take on that responsibility. Also, after being in the Army for 4 years, made me very confident with challenging situations...as we know sometimes toddlers can be very challenging but I'm definitely up for the task!
