I have been working at a daycare for the past few months. I am capable of safely changing diapers. Know how to handle situations without causing any high stress for me or the kids.
I have been around the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. Have bonded and created grest relationships with all the kids I have worked with at the daycare and created a place where they feel safe and have a trusted adult with them.
I am able to cook and help kids try new things. Being at the daycare I have leaned to teach the kids no thank you bites, and I if you are okay with that install that in how I care for kids.
While having them try new things I will be active with them at all times, helping them understand why things are and aren't okay and how to handle feelings that don't feel good for them. Such as anger or sadness.
